Dessert Crawl: A Gourmet Trick-or-Treat Experience!

DessertBannerIf you haven’t heard, our eighth annual Andersonville Dessert Crawl is just around the corner! This year, two dozen of the many restaurants in our neighborhood will showcase their sweetest, most delicious and decadent treats on Sunday, October 26, 2014, from 2:00-5:00PM. Just talking to the participants from previous years, it’s clear that this is a can’t-miss-event, especially if you have a sweet tooth. Just think of it as trick-or-treating for grownups, but without the hassles of picking an awesome costume just to get stuck with a bagful of Jolly Ranchers (because we know you just hate getting “stuck” with leftover candy!).  Instead, you and your friends can casually stroll Andersonville, sampling some of it’s many gourmet offerings, and still have your night free. With the Candy Corn Route featuring the cheesecake brownie bar at Rannalli’s and butterscotch panna cotta from Vincent, but the Caramel Apple Route featuring home-made baklava from Taste of Lebanon and Svea’s rice pudding with lingonberries, the hardest part will be picking which of the two routes to choose. And just so you know, the event did sell out last year, so take a look at the full route listings below and get your tickets today!

Plus, stay tuned next week for posts with photos and reviews of some of the treats listed below.
