This season, we are excited to launch the #AlwaysAndersonville campaign, blending the support of local businesses with unique Andersonville experiences. New this year, the Andersonville Chamber of Commerce and SSA #22 will provide a FREE holiday trolley for shoppers to hop on and off on 5 shopping days throughout the season, launching on Small Business Saturday. See the schedule.
Saturday, November 18 | 3-6PM: Unleash your inner Viking during Andersonville’s first ever Viking Challenge on Saturday, November 18, from 3-6PM! Come in costume and you may win a prize. Tickets are available online now for a curated route of bars and restaurants featuring 8 stops and a FREE 4.7 oz collectors glass. Buy Tickets!

Saturday, November 25 | All Day: Andersonville businesses celebrate the Shop Small movement with the nationally celebrated Small Business Saturday. Plus, pick up your #AlwaysAndersonville passport at any participating business.
Friday, December 1 | All Day: Participating businesses welcome December with all day shopping, events, dining and more. Plus, for the first time ever, the Andersonville Chamber and SSA #22 will provide a FREE holiday trolley that will run along Clark Street from 5-9PM! Visitors can easily hop on and off at multiple stops for easier transit throughout the district.
December 2-3 | 10AM Daily: Visit the Swedish American Museum (5211 N Clark) for traditional Swedish entertainment, food, and crafts at this indoor holiday market! $2 suggest donation for admission.
December 8, 15, & 22 | 5-9PM: Late night shopping, every Friday in December! The Andersonville Chamber of Commerce will host carolers, pictures with Santa, musicians, and more throughout the district. The FREE Andersonville Holiday Trolley will run along Clark Street from 5-9PM.
Wednesday, December 13 | 4:45PM: A candlelit, carol-filled procession down the sidewalks of Clark Street, followed by singing and treats at the Swedish American Museum (5211 N Clark). Admission is $1, or a food donation at the door benefiting Care For Real, Edgewater’s food pantry.
December 1-15: Help Care for Real make a difference in the lives of families in our area during our annual toy drive. There are many opportunities to drop off toys in local businesses or at Andersonville holiday events starting on Friday, December 1 during Andersonville First Fridays. Last year, Care for Real distributed more than 4,000 toys to over 800 children, helping 350 families have a more joyous holiday season.
