Hill's Adoption Event at Tree House Uptown Shelter, 1212 W. Carmen, 12 – 3 pm: The Hill’s “Second Chance for Love” Tour will be in the Chicago area to encourage local residents to help save the lives of one million Cats and Dogs by the end of 2008. As part of the tour, Hill’s will cover the adoption fee for the first 25 adoptions and provide these owners with a new pet starter kit during a special event. A celebrity photographer will be on site to capture adoptions of new animals. Tree House cats will be joined by dogs from Animal Care and Control of Chicago.
