St. Lucia Festival of Lights

Lumity, Alternatives, Inc. and the Chicago Public Library (CPL) Bezazian Branch invite you to a celebration of digital literacy at work in the community.  We are excited to be part of a collaboration to expand digital literacy in Chicago.

This initiative will improve the quality of life in communities by equipping young people with the hard skills necessary to obtain employment in a technology-related field.  Working hand-in-hand with Lumity and the Bezazian Branch of the Chicago Public Library, Alternative, Inc. has infused a skill-based digital literacy training curriculum into our public employment programs and will use it to benchmark the digital literacy of our participants.

Join us on June 2nd, 2008 from 4:30-6:00pm at the Bezazian Library Branch located at 1226 W. Ainslie St. to learn more about this exciting program and see a demonstration of digital literacy skills in action.
