Description

SACRED DIALOGUE ON RACE ANNOUNCED: Each Wednesday during August (6, 13, 20, 27), from 7:30-9pm, Ebenezer members will engage in discussions on race. This process was initiated by the Metro Chicago Synod – by invitation of the bishop and encouragement from the Synod Anti-Racism Team. For some congregations, it launched on Trinity Sunday (May 18th). Dialogues on race and racism are never easy. However this sacred dialogue is the beginning of a conversation that we hope will engender a deeper sense of understanding and trust. Pastor Powell and Pastor Koch will alternate leadership in this Sacred Dialogue on Race. Join us in the parlor Wednesdays, August 6, 13, 20, & 27, from 7:30-9pm (following the 7pm prayer service). Ebenezer Lutheran is at 1650 W. Foster (at Paulina), Chicago. Call Pastor Powell with any questions, 773-561-8496, x103. Come to the door at the back of the courtyard, ring the buzzer, and continue to the 2nd floor to access the parlor.
