Historical Bus Tour to Bishop Hill

Swedish immigrants seeking religious freedom founded Bishop Hill in 1846. Today, years of work by area residents, local organizations, and the State of Illinois to preserve Bishop Hill’s heritage are being rewarded. Many colony buildings are open to the public and are occupied by museums, shops, craftsmen, and restaurants. Bishop Hill is listed as a National Historic Landmark.

Join the Museum and explore Bishop Hill.  In the process, find the past, a small town’s tranquility, that perfect gift, a relaxing meal and even a bit of yourself. Anna-Clara Campbell of A.C. Events & Tours will be our guide. Cost: $75 per person. Includes bus and entrance fee, lunch, and snack/coffee break. Pre-paid reservations are required.
