The daughter of Gus Giordano has a lot to love in life, including her three children and the vibrancy of the Andersonville neighborhood.
Amy Giordano brings the legacy of the beloved “father of jazz dance” to new heights in the daily running of the 65-year-old dance school, located in Andersonville for the last eight years.
She believes everyone can dance, and the school teaches jazz, ballet, tap, modern hip-hop, contemporary, ballroom, and musical theatre dance to children 2-19, adults, and professionals.
“Giving encompasses many things; time, money, friendship, guidance, and love,” says Amy. “I’m lucky to continue my parents’ legacy in this way.”
Gus Giordano Dance School is one of over 20 businesses profiled in our 2018-19 Andersonville Neighborhood Guide. Check out more business spotlights via our homepage.
